Youth Connection Charter School (YCCS) complies with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 5 ILCS 140, by responding to all public records requests. Requests must include the requester’s name, contact information, and a detailed description of the documents being sought.

We are committed to transparency, accountability, and creating a safe and inclusive learning environment. Our policies and procedures are guided by a strong Code of Conduct, a Non-Discrimination Statement that affirms equity for all students and staff, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that ensure consistency across our programs. Families and stakeholders may also reference our comprehensive Student Handbook for expectations, rights, and responsibilities. In addition, financial and compliance reports are made available to demonstrate fiscal responsibility and alignment with state and federal requirements. Board Meeting
Schedule

The YCCS Board of Directors meets on the last Thursday of every month (except December). Meetings are open to the public and provide an opportunity to learn more about YCCS programs, governance, and community impact. We welcome students, parents/guardians, families, staff, and community members to attend and engage with YCCS leadership. Agendas and minutes are posted in accordance with public meeting requirements.
